Vivian Chinasa Ezugha Artist Book

I was asked to design a book to showcase performance artist Vivian Chinasa Ezugha’s latest project: Because of Hair; the Dichotomy of Culture and Identity. It is a beautiful tale of finding one’s self in the sight of darkness. Chinasa Ezugha evokes memories of her experience of masquerades in Nigeria, using hair as a language and symbol of empowerment.
